Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Emily is a BCBA and former special education teacher who took a chance on the “other Washington” by moving to Tacoma after graduating from the College of William & Mary in 2015. She has worked at Behavior Bridges since 2017 in a variety of roles – behavior technician, practicum student, program supervisor, and crisis consultant. She specializes in working with teens and adults, especially those with dual diagnoses. In addition to her work with the Behavior Bridges team, Emily is the Clinical Services Manager at a local residential agency that supports adults with complex behavior needs. She also serves as adjunct psychology faculty at Purdue Global University in their ABA graduate program. In her spare time, Emily loves to travel the world with her husband, play with her cats Pesto & Popcorn, and explore local pizza joints!
