Behavior Bridges provides a variety of free services for Pierce County community members on Preventing Behavioral Health Crises for Neurodiverse Populations. This programming, supported by Pierce County Behavioral Health Department, aims to provide social groups ages 2 through adulthood, PEERS/Friendship Courses, caregiver training on preventing crisis and community education and workshops for our community. In partnership with additional community members, local agencies, hospitals, and school districts, Behavior Bridges continues to strive to be a model for best practices.

  • Social Groups
    Various social groups are now being offered! Different themes and skills will be targeted for some groups. Groups typically last from 1-3 hours.  Other groups are meant to be loosely structured hang-out style for you to make friends, be part of group activities and have a safe and welcoming place to come. Ages and special interests that will be targeted are:

    • Early Learner (2-4)
    • 5-7
    • 8-12
    • 13-17
    • Adult
    • Special Interests (Dungeons & Dragons, Sibling Hangout & more!)

Group Registration

  • PEERS® and Youth Friendship Courses
    PEERS® (Ages 13-17 & 18+) and Youth Friendship Course (Ages 9-12) provide evidence based social skills training to neurodiverse children, adolescents, and adults. Both programs teach skills for making and keeping friends, handling conflicts, and addressing bullying. Each program provides opportunities to practice the skills learned with peers.
